PRS is proud to foster formal collaborations that offer artists, lecturers, and scholars resources and spaces to explore and exhibit their creations.
It was PRS founder Manly P. Hall’s view that any collection representing a heritage of wisdom and beauty must include not only exemplary books but also symbolic art. PRS continues to uphold this view by fostering the creation and interpretation of contemporary art as a vital source of wisdom addressing subjects both ancient and present.
Additionally, the on-site Hansell Gallery is home to several art exhibits, openings, and multimedia art events each year, with the PRS auditorium, library, and atrium spaces often transforming into additional art space for video projection, performance pieces, and kinetic poetry readings.
